Bright future with RDC NEXT Planning!

So now that you have your Account list finalized , it is time you start planning your visits and crushing those targets !

What is RDC NEXT Planning?

PLANS is a feature that enables the medical representatives to plan and submit their weekly/ monthly visits. Using the PLANS feature, district managers can ,also, view their team members' submitted plans.

To access Plans, click on the Plans icon in RDC NEXT as illustrated below :

Upon clicking on Plans icons , you will be directed to the monthly planner. As displayed, the monthly plan is divided into weeks which you can plan and view separately. So don't worry, you don't need to plan the full month at once. You can take it one week at a time !

Note : You can't submit a plan after the deadline. Check the last due date for each week and submit your plan ahead of time !

At the bottom of the screen, you will see the monthly stats where you will be able to see a summary of your planned visits. This section here can help you immensely in planning your visits to meet your coverage and strike rate targets !

Monthly stats is divided into the following 3 sections :

  • Planned Visits - number of planned visits during the selected month

  • Planned Coverage - number of planned visits broken-down per account type.

    • i.e. number of planned doctor visits & number of planned medical institutions visits.

  • Planned Strike Rate- number of planned visits per impact.

Let's start planning !

Choose the week you would like to start planning for, and click START PLANNING.

Tip : Successful reps are good planners. Make sure to submit your plans on time !

You will be directed to weekly planner view displayed below. Here, you can add events, visits, and mark days off for every day of the week.


How to add visits ?

To add visits to your plan, follow the below steps:

Step 1 : Click on Add Visit button.

Step 2: Select Accounts

You will be directed to the below view where you can see all your confirmed accounts list to choose the visits.

And guess what ?! Yes, you can select multiple accounts at once. Imagine how much time you can save.

Wait, there's more ! you can also filter , group by, and search your accounts list. So, you can quickly add the specific accounts you are planning to visit on that particular date.

Simply tap on the account name and choose the workplace where you would like to visit them.

After you select multiple accounts' visits, they will reflect on the left side of the list.

To remove any, you can click on the X icon.


Finally, when you are done planning for a day , you can use the arrows to switch to the next or previous day to plan for it.

Step 4: Review & Edit

Once you add visits to your plan, this is what your day-by-day plan will look like.
Review and edit your plan before submitting it.

Note: Plans can't be edited after submission.




How to add an event to your plan?

To add an EVENT to your weekly plan, follow these steps:

Step 1: Tap on ADD EVENT

You will be directed to ADD EVENT filling information, which consists of the event name, description, and Date.



How to mark a day off ?

To mark a day off on your weekly plan, simply click on Mark as a day off button. Yes, it is that simple !

Finally, once you are done adding your visits ,events, and off days , it is time you review and submit your plan.

Note: Plans can't be edited after submission.

Upon clicking Submit, RDC NEXT will help you with a confirmation dialogue that will pop up to show you the planned visits versus the recommended as per your KPIs. You must click confirm for the plan to be submitted.

Please note that you must fill in all days of the week. So, for example, you must mark weekend days as off days. Otherwise, you will not be able to submit the plan, and the below error message will be displayed.

Also , in case you started a plan and didn't finish it , you can save a plan draft to edit later. To do so, click on the Cancel button at top right corner. Click on "yes, save plan for later" shown in the the below pop up screen.


Double Visits

Now that you have submitted your weekly plan, your manager will be notified. Your manager can choose and mark the double visits he/she would be joining you.

You will be able to see on your plan view the visits your manager marked as double visits. As displayed below, double visits will be highlighted for you in blue.


Skipped Visits

In several cases, the plan might not be followed exactly, and so you might end up skipping some of the planned visits. It is your responsibility ,however, to clarify the reason for each skipped visit. To do so, follow the following steps:

To access skipped visits, go to the monthly plan, and access the weekly plan you wish to view.

RDC NEXT will automatically detect skipped visits that you didn't do or attend based on your e-detailing sessions. You will be notified about the skipped visits on the top of the page as displayed below .

Click on show skipped visits button.

You will be directed to Skipped Visits list.

You have to state the reason for skipping these visits. To state, the reason click on STATE REASON button,

You'll have a set of options to select from as a reason for the skipped visit, choose the most relevant one.

After you submit the reason, the list will look like the following.

Now, you are fully equipped with your perfected accounts list and plans to crush your targets !
