In this article, we will discuss how the medical rep can request to remove an existing account from their assigned accounts list.

There are many scenarios that would require you to remove an account from your assigned list, and as a medical rep, you are responsible of verifying and ensuring your list is updated and as accurate as possible.

Removing accounts that won't benefit you and the company will help you have an accurate CRM list that will enable accurate analysis.

Note : A remove request is NOT a delete request. It is simply a de-assign request. The master list data remain untouched.

How to remove an account ?

Access your accounts list through RDC NEXT.

There are two ways to Remove an account

The first way is from the main Accounts List view where you can click on the Remove button as illustrated below.

The second way is from the account's profile page. Click on the account name to navigate to its profile page.

Then , you simply click on the remove button on the top right corner.

Whatever way you choose, upon clicking remove, you will be directed to the below view where you will be asked to choose the reason for removal to justify your request to your company.

Then, you click submit. RDC NEXT will ask you to confirm. A confirmation box will pop-up.


Like any submitted request , you will have to wait for the approval of your manager. No changes will reflect until the manager approves.

Note : Removing an account will affect your KPIs starting from the next month onwards.

Accounts Pending GTS

Tip: stay on top of your game by always ensuring that you fill GTS for all your accounts on timely basis.

If your company has the GTS feature enabled, you will not be able to remove the account if the account is pending GTS. As illustrated below, accounts pending GTS will show "GTS" label next to the account name, and the remove button will be disabled. Once the GTS is completed for the account, you will be able to remove it.
